A new or refurbished conservatory is a great way to add additional living space for you and the family.
A conservatory can be a separate space or an extension to an existing room, the extra light and space can transform the way you use the space in your home.
P-Shape & T-Shape Conservatories
Named after their plan views, P-shape and T-shape conservatories combine standard styles to create a greater internal space, suitable for larger properties. P-shapes often mix lean-to and Victorian, T-shapes often incorporate squarer Georgian styles or include a wider mix.
Flat-fronted with a square or rectangular symmetrical shape, Georgian (aka Edwardian) conservatories typically have a high, vaulted roof. They are practical, spacious with subtler lines than Victorian equivalents.
Evoking the elegance of a bygone era, lantern conservatories are a popular choice for period properties. The two-tier ‘wedding cake’ style roof lantern with side lights lends additional height and offers opportunity for extra ventilation.
Gable End Conservatory
With an apex front panel and high roof pitch, the gable end conservatory offers a practical, internal square floor plan that is similar to Georgian or Edwardian conservatories, but with a feeling of additional headroom. A popular ’grand’ design, they work particularly well with mature properties.
Victorian Style Conservatory
Typically with a 3 or 5 panel faceted front-end or bay and a pitched roof, the classic Victorian-style conservatory lends itself to great all-round views and is a popular choice for both traditional and modern properties.
Lean To Conservatory
Rectangular in design and with a variable pitch roof sloping away from the main exterior wall, lean-to or 'Mediterranean' conservatories are ideal ways of winning a ‘sun-room’ particular for smaller properties with restricted space available and bungalows.

Combine solid and shaped glazing seamlessly with LivinRoof from Ultraframe or incorporate a full solid roof into a conservatory structure. Glazing panels can be inserted just about anywhere to help maximise the use of natural light and give a truly bespoke design.
